Inspiration behind the 2025 Chamber OBA's
Presented by the Saint John Chamber, each crystal award features a hand-sculpted tidal wave cresting into a frothy white cap, cascading over a crystal sphere infused with sparkling dichroic crystal. Dionne’s inspiration for the design stems from the pinnacle of enlightenment experienced in a flow state—much like the moment a surfer rides the centre of a wave, perfectly balanced, fully present, and in complete harmony with the forces around them.
The crystal sphere at the center of the wave symbolizes both the moon and the crown chakra—a convergence of intuition, clarity, and higher awareness. In Saint John, the only port city on the Bay of Fundy, the moon’s influence over the tides holds deep meaning. It becomes a metaphor for collective consciousness, and for the ways our minds and energies remain connected to the rhythms of the earth.
These awards honour not only excellence in business, but the fluid, interconnected spirit of our community—guided by tides, shaped by momentum, and illuminated by moments of true insight.

Fiddleheads are a powerful symbol of New Brunswick’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. These tightly coiled ferns, harvested each spring along the province’s rivers, represent renewal, tradition, and a deep connection to the land.
NBMC / CMNB
The Multi-Cultural Council of New Brunswick has a fiddlehead with colourful leaves for their logo. We are proud to have been asked to create a physical representation of that for their annual awards.

The New Brunswick Writer’s Federation asked us to mount our iconic fiddleheads on engraved marble bases for their literary book awards, which we are looking forward to making again in 2025.
